Chairman Report
•Chairman White asked if Selectman Smith and Selectman Brown would be available at the polls on March 9th or if Selectman Smith would not be involved since she is in the ballot this year. Selectman Smith said she would speak with Harry Gale, the Town Moderator on her thoughts of her involvement. Selectman Smith didn’t think it was a problem since she would be checking voters out, not in. Chairman White will be in and out during the day, and at the end of the day to sign the warrant. Selectman Brown also agreed to be present. Selectman Roach expressed a concern regarding Selectman Smith’s involvement with the election since Selectman Smith was on the ballot and has someone running against her, and if the opposing candidate registered a complaint that another candidate was working at the election. Selectman Roach always thought that anyone on the ballot could not work at the polls. Selectman Smith will check with Harry Gale and report back to the Board at the March 8th meeting. Selectman Roach will also be present at the polls.

•Selectman Smith passed out a report from Representative Gottling regarding her legislative activities since taking office. (report attached)  Selectman Smith feels strongly that Representative Gottling should report monthly what’s going on at the state level. Selectman Roach wanted to know how Representative Gottling voted on certain bills pertaining to the “downshifting of money from the state to the towns. After much discussion, the consensus of the Board was to have to representative report to the Board on a regular basis.

Town Manager Report
Donna Nashawaty updated the Board on the legislative hearings on the Broadband bill that she attended on February 16th in Concord.
